Yes, it's true, Santa Clara actually is in the First Division. I've known about it for 3 months, but I didn't want to believe it until the first game actually took place. And even more amazing, we tied 2-2 with Sporting Lisbon. This is a fantastic sign, a sign we may be around for a while. I'll do a writeup on the game when I get a chance
In a battle of Islands, we tied Madeira's Maritimo 0-0. I saw some video clips of the game (see my links ), and I think we may have gotten lucky. I know Maritimo sure had a couple of great attempts that our goalie Du was very lucky to stop. Again, I'll write it up when I can.
